This is very simple and the title of the thread pretty much says it all.
Incase you need a reminder: Top 3 Warcraft 3 Maps - That Few People Play is the thread title.
They don't need to be in a particular order or anything.
Just mention 3 maps that you like a lot and feel free to upload it so that others may experience the joy of playing those maps.
Feel free to write some useful information about the map as well.

1. The Predator

This goal of this game is if your playing as Survivor - to push the Predator into the "Pit of Certain Death".
With the exeption of the Predator "Pit Lord".
He is killed by repeatedly being pushed into the water area.
The water area is also a place where you regain mana more rapidly.
There are 11 diffrent Predators to choose from when it is your turn to be a Predator.
However if you pick "random" there is a chance you get the "Joker" Predator - which is rather good if you know how to play him.

The Referee is a rather fun element of this game (can be removed with advance options, but is NOT at all recommended). When the referee notice your standing still for "a while" - chances are he turns into a dragon. When he does that run - left or right! If you don't your dead meat.
He can also open portals to the "safe zone", summon helpful runes, summon neutral hostile units or channel stamped spells. Loads of stuff to ensure a fun experience.

The Survivors have 4 default spells and one random spell.
Q - Summons trees at a location
W - Blink
E - Fireball with knockback
R - Heal
X - Random Spell (Windwalk, Mirror Image, Dragon Escort, Hex, Jump, Tree Defense 1, Tree Defense 2 and so on)

Advance options:
-rd ( Reset Default - Removes all the trees created by the Survivors after each round ).
-br ( Bonus Round - everyone plays as the "Predator", winner gets 5 points. )
-mt ( More trees appear on the map, making it harder for the one playing as Predator, suggested if there are 4 or less players ).
-mr ( More rocks appear on the map, making it extremly hard for the one playing as Predator, not suggested when playing with noobies.
Because the rocks turn into Golems when destroyed ).
-nn ( Night Vision - Not recommended, it ruins the gameplay )

Type -rounds to see how many rounds there are left.
The player with the most amount of points - wins.
1 point for killing a survivor
3 points for being the last one standing ( 5 players or more required for this )
3 points for killing the Predator ( 5 players or more required for this )

2. Tomb of Jarahcon
This thread should have all the information you would want about this map
http://www.thehelper.net/forums/showthread.php?t=86767

3. MaD Balls Arena
Took me ages to find a working version of this.
The game is fairly simple but has a lot of advanced options to ensure a awesome gameplay.
You pick up a ball and throw with R - it's almost as simple as it gets.
But - there are a lot of unique balls.
Gravity Ball, Fragment Ball, Volcano Ball, Glaive Ball, Lightning Ball and so on are just a few that are ment to screw up your game.
You will die, but you will like it. Your goal is to "kill" everyone, whenever you kill someone you gain gold. With enough gold you can buy useful items.
Scroll of speed, Jetpack, Boots of Speed - items that helps you survive (are not dropped upon death).

This game is ment to be played with atleast 5 or more people.

Enjoy the gaming experience

Okay, first I agree with Predator, never heard of Tombs of Jarahcon and I hate MaD Balls Arena.

Here's my list:

1. Genesis of Empires
2. Legacies of Warcraft
3. Undead Assault 2 (not sure about this one, but I can't find anything else at the moment)

Search them up if you want to know more about them, I don't have the time to post links.

Got to try Genesis of Empires it seems. Yeah The Predator is a awesome map, wish a few more people would play it.
Everytime I play it the noobs leave as soon as they are dead.
They fail to grasp the meaning of the word "rounds".
Played Afterlife once or twice and I think it's rather decent actually.
Should download it and play with the buddies someday.

EDIT: No, played it on battlenet with full house both times.

So you mean you did it alone :O

Its no fun that way, and its also impossible to win it by yourself.

Its extremely fun with other players. There is even an end cinamatic, after you kill the Lvl 10 boss.

I used to be in a clan with the guy who made The Predator, pretty nice guy and a cool game on top of that.

Well I don't have 3 atm, but I have to say a game I'd like to see hosted more often was Battle Mages, a cool arena type game with interesting physics and customization.
You were in BoM? I don't recall you, but perhaps that was after I stopped being actively involved.

--

My list is probably The Predator, Europa (rev 2), and AotZ in no particular order.

Yeah, I don't particularly remember you being in it either.
I started being active in the forums I guess like a year before the site owner couldn't renew the server, I had been on bnet a few months before then. Never really got to releasing any maps on my own though. The site's back up again now, but it's practically a ghost town.

First: Simple Living
This map is one of the hidden gems of Warcraft 3.
You can do basically anything in it, you have to keep your character alive almost like you would do hundreds of years ago.

Second: Tomb of Jarahcon
A great adventure, with different route each time.
Also, great heroes and skills/abilities - Lots of fun to play with friends!

Third: Jurassic Park Survival EE
I've always liked Jurassic Park maps, but if you seek for difficulty, this is the one.
I somehow manage Easy on this version, and 'am not willing to try harder ones.

If you like Jurassic Park maps, try this!

About: So yeah, I added the top maps of my, I'm not quite sure if Tomb of Jarachon is popular, but I never see it in B.Net.

There used to be a bot hosting ToJ, and that got played a lot. Then the bot died, and so did the game, for the most part.

I'd also like to mention Custom Castle Wars. That was pretty damn fun, even though it was really unbalanced and only worth one playthrough per version.

You still see it hosted occasionally but Battleships Crossfire was pretty cool
The problem? The game dragged on for hours, thus it was a pain to finish.
Also it could've done without all the hippy propaganda they added later (lol, they added a Gaja ship, which had the main ability of getting other ships high - the tool tip was something like "it helps them relax thus they travel slower then normal.").

Aside from that, it had pretty in depth customization options and many more interesting weapons then the normal Bships. Battletanks also had an equivalent, MG which had the same problem of dragging on too long (there was another game too, I think it was Tank Commanders of something like that, that also was the same idea, having more customization options and better weapons).

Don't people still host Jurrassic Park?

1 - Elimation Tourney
2 - The Alternate Future
3 - Emperor_Jackal's Civilization

I would say Sheep Tag, but it's not hard at all to find a game that's almost full. :p

1. Mafia [A "turn-based" game which I have no idea why I like, but it seems pretty scary and fun at the same time]
2. Space Command [It reminds me of those browser games, except in real time and it's extremely fun with many complicated stuff]
3. 101 Rounds [Some game which involves dodging stuff, it's quite fun actually]

I agree, this version is without any doubt the best one - and it is difficult.

- terrain is mind-blowing compared to the other versions and a lot better than the regular versions people host.
Few people seem to host it though, which is always a shame.

EDIT: By the way, I tried Genesis of Empires - I wasn't impressed.

1: Zombie Horde Series
Zombie Horde [Link Missing]
Zombie Horde 2
Zombie Horde 3 [I haven't tried it yet, I didn't know it was there already]

Zombie Horde is a fun, zombie-based map that is pretty epic and fun. There are 4 zombie teams, and 8 marines. The zombies can easily horde and attack, the gameplay is very basic. The zombies are a bit weak, but a full-house game is definitely imbalanced for the zombies. The marines are very fun to play as, placing turrets, placing landmines. There isn't much trigger work, but there are imported models. The english is pretty bad but the game itself is still fun.

2: (6)ExtraRaces1.6GnollWood
Download (Works on 1.20e or higher, all I have is 1.20e and 1.24e; but doesn't work on 1.24)

Extra Races Gnoll Wood is a map I played when I was still addicted to Garena. I found it, played it and REALLY enjoyed it. Many custom skills, many custom units, all balanced. Though the Fel Orcs have a free hero. But apart from that, everything is perfect. Even though there was no change in the terrain, the gameplay is memorable. Also works with AI, but they only use the 4 original races.

3: Scrub Troll Tribes Series
Alpha 4 [First one I played]
Alpha 6
Alpha 7
Alpha 8
Alpha 9 [Second and last one I played]

Scrub Troll Tribes is an epic game almost like that other Troll Tribes game (Island Troll Tribes, I think). You can create structures and weapons, the gameplay is really hard at first, you will strive to survive, I assure you. It's extremely epic, especially when I'm able to create the Plasma Rifle.

I had totally forgotten about Space War, such a lovely gem.
It is made by BOESERTEDDY here on Hiveworkshop.
Map found here: http://www.epicwar.com/maps/33229/

You goal is to kill the enemy Energy Generator (and defend your Energy Generator).

Type of Buildings:
- Nuclear Missile Sites that fires nukes against the enemy spaceship.
- Phaser Tower fires lasers that destroyes the nukes
- Photo Laser Tower fires lasers as well, useful against enemy heroes or robots.

Type of Spaceships:
- Transport
- Imperial Glider, expensive spaceship - can only enter the enemy spaceship from below.
- Battle Fighter, cheap and very fast spaceship.

Buildings:
Building a Factory allowes the player to build Imperial Gliders and robots.
The robots are handy if mass-produced and sent by transport over to the enemy ship.

Was sad when koJ disappeared and the predator 2 project died :/
Might eventually get around to fixing all the bugs in #1 though; haven't updated it in a long time

Space war, 100 rounds, mafia are all fun too
I would recommend Rise of Winterchill to anyone that like aos'; Can sometimes find people in channel Chasm @ azeroth

Bobo_the_Kodo, What an honor to have you here Bobo_The_Kodo.
This is happy news to all of us that play the Predator everyday.
Even though "might eventually" is a bit vague I still think it's a great that you atleast consider improving it.

Yes, the Predator has some bugs that could use some fixing.
Mostly when it comes to hero spells.
• Beastmaster's "Toss Bear" spell
• Pit Lord's "Trail of Fire" spell
• Illidan's "Spin" spell
• Blademaster's "Bladestorm" spell
• Lady Vashj's "Stone Gaze" spell
These spells are very known to bug, especially the Lady Vashj's "Stone Gaze" spell.

Further suggestions.
• The Survivor spell "Jump" should have a longer cooldown or shorter jump range.
• Would be nice if Survivors had the chance to get the spell "Silence" as a random spell.
• Suggest a bigger field of view when playing "-NN" mode also suggest that the ladies in the safe zone drop "Goblin Night Scope" during this mode.
• Wand of Mana Stealing, would be a fun addition to the item drops.

Where do you and your friends play? I'll come on and talk to you sometime (haven't played in a while though)

I'll try and fix several of the bugs tonight; though I lost the unprotected version about a year ago so I'll have to mess with the war3map.j

And I'll most likely get The Predator 2 to be playable fairly soon (only worked on it in like september 2008; has AI and multiple arenas to choose from, etc)

I am found on Garena in Sweden Dota Room 1,4,3 or 2 (in that order).
"Erik_Gustafsson" is my account name on Garena. Zpider which is my account name on Battlenet (Northend, US East and West) was sadly taken.

Incase I am not online when you are, feel free to talk with Ralf^, Skrotman, Bajzorsisten, Hoeman, Klacksaft, Pranud or Empeetree.
All of them are "The Predator" fans and IRL/gaming friends with me.
Bajzorsisten, Hoeman, Ralf^ and Skrotman have my phone number so they can easily get in touch with me.
