Tile limit?

Is there a tile limit even if you're replacing tiles by triggers?

if you replace dirt with ice with triggers it will most likely cause big lagg since that will be a huge loop.

but yes it would work.

No limits at triggers but 16 tiles size limit when adding through Modiying Tiles.

There is a limit, even with triggers. It is still 16.

Because this isn't your thread!
But to answer your question: yep, you can add tiles without replacing any other ones on the map (as long as you don't hit the tile limit).

Edit: I might have misunderstood the question, though .
