Hey there hivers! I'm struggling to make a map have different cliff tiles in one tileset, like a cliff from Ashenvale tileset and a cliff from Dalaran. Is it possible?
And is there a way to increase the limit of Texture Space Used? Cause it's really a shame to have only 2-3 tiles from every tileset if you want to make your custom tileset contain tiles from other tilesets.. (like, you have a tileset that has the tiles from Outland, Northrend, Lordaeron, Sunken Ruins etc. but you are limited to have only 2-3 tiles from every one of them, so you can't make your terrain look good like that :/ )

Possibly, however the cliff meshes might be wrong. Too little research has been done into the cliff variation mechanics to know. In any case the limit is 2 cliff meshes and 2 cliff textures even though you can have up to 16 referenced cliff types. Each cliff type forces the loading of their accompanying base ground tile type and also are loaded before custom ground tile types are.

You can use at most 16 ground tile types. This limit is hard coded as a result of only 4 bits (16 possibilities) being used to represent ground tile type each terrain vertex. In theory you can declare up to 2^32-1 (probably less due to file size constraints) ground tile types in your map however only the first 16 (of which cliff forced ground tile types are included) can be used by terrain vertices.
