Thunder Clap lags?

The problem is that I would have wanted to use Thunder Clap with 1600 AoE but when I do this the game lags really much for a second or two even in single player. I would have just needed that damage and slow so I'm wondering is there any way to make thunder clap not lag or should I just try casting a slow on each target separately inside that aoe?

Thunder Clap is an ability that, like Shockwave, deforms the terrain beneath you. So, when you cast a thunder clap with such massive AoE, game automatically laggs because of 1600 terrain deformations. I suggest to create a custom dummy spell.

As Apheraz Lucent said, terrain deformations lag considerably.
An alternative would be to trigger your thunder clap and creating the effect yourself. This way there is no terrain deformations.
But before that, make sure there's no option to disable deformations for your spell in the object editor.

Well, a long time ago i had a really bad computer, and some things that lagged on my pc don't lagged in most of the actual pcs.
If your pc is fast, well, idk. Try deleting the TC art just to see if that's what lagging

That's what I thought too when I saw the terrain deformations. I'll just do it the other way then.
