This Path Texture won't work like a dead gate

So I made this Path Texture and I imported it in and it works except the unit will not recognize it as a path. Like if he's completely trapped and the only way out is this dead gate the path is for he won't run through it.

The only way you can get him to move through it is micromanage the units path by telling him to walk in it, then walk through it. So units can go through it, you just really gotta force them to do it.

Is there some way to make them go through this the right way?
