I finally decided to scrape together a thingy demonstrating some camera systems I've had floating around since fall of last year which allow you to directly specify camera eye position rather than using WCIII's target/distance/angle structure, run said cameras along bezier curves, and just generally smooth things out. It's not perfect, and the interface is kind of a joke, but it works.

Basically, I built a cinematic with smooth cameras and no Warcraft III camera objects.

Consider it a crude technology demonstrator.
