The Final Stand of War (Realistic Shooter)
After retiring in mapmaking for a year and more... i have gladly come back. A personal note to all who requested my help: i am sorry, but i was retired. I have decided to create a new map, a shooters map. The usual team vs team game, but here is the thing: its going to have a simple, Fast bullet shooting system that is pretty hard to dodge from; of course there will be an accuracy system attached to it. No there will be no grenades, no machine guns, no shotguns, just a simple pistol with a strategic, diverse terrain. This terrain will consist of a one level height, meaning no cliffs, and will contain "doodads" that will block incoming bullets. There will be a multiboard to keep charge of statistics etc... and the doodads will actually be units w/ locust disguised as doodads (pathing will be detected through "A unit approaches (the "doodad")" event). Giving me the ability to change their scale size and identify them in triggers, without the player even knowing they are units! (even though the width of the doodad will be most important because its height should already be more than that of the bullet itself) These "doodads" will be diverse, and most importantly in strategic positions. The player will have a spell to increaes his movement speed momentarily, and a spell to ping enemies on his map momentarily. Of course this is just the basic lay out, power ups can be added and creeps, or even events and such. The layout will look like a war aftermath. Btw there also might be some doodads for just decoration.
I really want a partner with a strategic mind, good mapmaking skills, but most importantly, a good terrainer. I can do all the triggers on my own, even tho i might be a little rusty, GUI is all about creativity ^^. I want a serious mapmaker for this, who will be with me all the damn way
I do not expect much from you, i dont expect you to be some pro JASS'er or anything of the sort, but instead a good terrainer with a strategic mind and some knowledge of object editor to be able to render these units as "doodads"; i would most certainly help you in some of terrain, as you also would in triggers to me if youd like.
Now many additions can be made to this map, even a custom made hp bar, but the point of this game is simplicity and skill. Why do you think dota is so popular? why do you think footmen frenzy is so popular? they do not have the hardest spells of all time you know, and the concepts are not so hard, (although dota might be somewhat of an exception), it is the creativity in it. I do not wish to include a physics system full of humbug that will cause me and my partners map to lag, but instead a lagless map (since i use gui, a physics system will cause some lag).
I would love to mapmake again, and i hope that you would be that person to help me. I hope that we could reach fame together, and most importantly: give the wc community a hell of a game!
P.S: I may need some custom models for this too, i would most certainly give credits for the person, and say that it was custom made for the map! It would be a kind of after-war model with a simple, good textured pistol, and a normal, realistic physique, most likely male. (no sexism intended, just is more realisticly fitting to the map) and ofc, the title can be changed to whatever we decide as a team.
There also may be some other basic weapons such as grenades, but i was thinking of making this game attractive without these usual weapons.

(please contact to see, as i dont wish for someone to take these systems because they are supposed to be given to friends for a map.)
I just want you guys to know, this can and will work, and be a fun map to play, i am sure of it, and of course, as my partner, you should be able to suggest different ideas, or improvements too, so it is not all my ideas.
