The Dreanai and Childhood's End

Ok, I was lieing in bed the other nigh, after watching I robot, and thinking of the themes in that movie, the whole "Humans are like Children" thing, When I started thinking of other stories with that kinda theme. I started thinking about the book Childhood's End by Arthur C. Clarke. I was thinking about that, and then somthing clicked. The Dreanai from WoW reminded me of that book. The end results are different, but the preface is about the same.
