The 2011 Games?

It's a game where you play through chalenges. Each challenge equals one year (starting with 0000 A.C. and ending with 2011). The defferance betwean each challenge depend on the tech of the year in real life.

First of all pleaes do not double post. There is an edit button.

The idea sounds great but imagine finding 2011 different challenges. That's most likely impossible.

It would be more logical to divide the time into different centuries.

Like medieval, industrial revolution, first ww, second ww, and so on.

I'm not going to lie, its a fantastic idea. But keep challenges constained to specific time periods such as the above poster said. WWI, WWII, The Crusades, The Time of Rome, The Time of The New World, American Civil War, and The War In The Middle East. Those are probably the best time periods for war related challenges based on years.

The Warring States and The War of the Three Kingdoms are good periods too.

You said 5 quests per year. Thats 2011 x 5. Second of all, that game would take hours to play and everybody would get bored. Third of all, you won't have enough map room. And 4th of all, you would give up because of boredom (probably). I recommend doing as they said. Oh and, you can't come up with 2011 challenges. An average individual (I think) could waste 6 hours and only come up with about 30-60? Its hard not to repeat.

No one will play 2011 challenges.. You would be better off making it progress years as the player plays, though of like wario ware. It starts off slow with stuff like catapults shooting you in some minigames, very easy. As it progresses it gets harder and faster, with catapults getting multiple shot, faster attack rate and eventually being replaced with artillery with larger splash. A doge game where you have to avoid charging horsemen starts off with only 1 slow horse and lots of footmen and ends up avoiding cars and rockets. That kind of thing.

But really, 2011 mini games would be too much, you would be better off using the date as a difficulty factor. You could even add in bonous rounds up to 2100 where you have to doge marines and zerglings.

Like in Civilization. BC progresses 10 year at a time, AD 1-World War One Times 5 years, After WWII Times 1 year, except oppositly

(oh andsorry for double poasting)

If you make just 200 challenge it would be more that I ever seen (Uther Party, Pyramid Escape and so on...). I dont think you really realize what you're going to do.

EDIT: 2001 challenges also mean 2001 triggers if you dont want to make 2001 similar-looking challenges.
