Ok... You open the model in mdl (YobGul's File Converter) and then you edit the texture path so it points to the path you plan to use for the skin

How do i edit the texture paths?

.... Did you even look? Okay. Download one of my Flamestrike edits and extract the original and compare them. Their textures are like totally changed. You will see the texture part, and if you don't then don't model
