oh that is true, although i wouldn't know what theme to go with

I suppose I did have thoughts of a doctrine theme, where the theme is a specific playstyle and contestants try to match that doctrine as effectively as they can in their entry

either that or... maybe a sci fi theme? or magitek, but I'm pretty sure that was done.

maybe a generation gap theme where you choose an era to base your faction around?

Very good. Every map of this techtree contest is very good. I suggest upload these map to Maps area. Because more people can see and enjoy them.

Didn't the last one take even longer? I remember there was one contest I was in that lasted MANY MONTHS.

Yeah, I think there's been very long techtree contests before, mostly from difficulties with finding judges.

Well yeah, but this one, our substitute judge has already judged the contest. There's no reason for another delay, especially this long.

Yeah I have no idea what's up with that, there seemed to be a moment of "oh nice, something's happening", and then it wasn't.

I wonder if other contests have to go through periods like this.
