Tauren Khalasi - aka worker

A tauren worker based on the tauren unit from wc3 reforged. I've seen that I was not alone thinking that we needed some big fury workers but still, no matter if there is others, I had to finish mine. Always fun with different models and some more power to make the Horde grow.

A lot of thanks to Kaizer, Sniff and Fugrim for feedback, support, advice and guiding.
Moonfury, Flinn, Malmgrev for same reason!
Twilac and Retera, to you both, I'm so greatful for RMS/TRMS and that you both been helping me understand them better and how to make things smoother.

New Tauren Khalasi Younger has "stand hit" and I will try to add it to old one to. Not just sure how (at site).
Ps. "stand hit" is not the best, sorry about that.

Been polishing the animations, fixed some of the braid's/trinkets (the rope at lowerbody)
movement. Both Original and Younger has better "stand hit" animation.

I got a lot of good advice and help on the way, Sniff/Kaizer, thank you for all feeback.

I wound like to say We are glad to tell that Tauren now comes with their own new bag, Sniff made this possible, I will adding two version. First one is made of kodo skin and "normal" skin (like peons bag) and second one is totally made in kodo skin.

Last thing, I will adding a new version of this model, with pants, for a more unique personal look. I will not adding a new portrait or icon, the looks is the same for the upperbody as for the original. Re-use it :p

Ps. I dont know how to use texture without a unit so the new bags are "within" the Original and Younger. Totally in kodo is with the "old version" and then mixed bag is with the "Younger". If anyone know and have to, please explain for me how You add texture directly

Reduced some size at Older, sanity fixed them all, added more animations for portrait while removing Geo that was not needed. Size of portrait became almost same with the remove of geo and add of animations. Younger missed some animations and settings, added/fixed those problems.

Needs lots of improvements. "New" doesn't have a working portrait, and all of them stand still for a split second before the Death animation, and they need proper transition from Decay Bone to Decay Flesh - in both visibility and animation frames...
The nosering, harness, and braids can be removed super-easily, and it makes the unit look less experienced and further differentiates it from the original Tauren model.

I did try that and was not that found in it. But yes, You are right! I did a makeover, I left the ring tho, they really needs it, smaller tho. Will soon be posted
 
hm.. nice to see reforged modding has got a tauren worker. reminds me of time i built a tauren rpg model for old war3
Sounds like sweet times!

it was ^_^ but war3 has changed a lot, i don't really have tools that could easily edit and graft stuff to reforged models as easily as they could for old models.

Hmm what tools do You have? Sounds like the Tauren community is in need for another fellow

You might not care for my feedback but I did check the model because taurens are a favorite race of mine.
The idea is great the model as it appears is beautifull but the pants...the choise to cut so much of the texture is damaging it because it's easy to see it's a cut texture unfinished so to speak
Might be best to scale the end of the pants a bit and narrow to the legs to make them look more natural

That in my opinion is the only reason the model is not a 10/10 in terms of looks
As for animations:
Death - axe teleports to the ground does not fall
Stand Hit animation - they kinda do not fit with the other animations because he does from that to normal animation ingame. Maybe update that when you can so that the position is similar to the stands so the transition is more natural.

Also it's weird he slides and he's feet are not place always on the ground during that animation. As an example the Paladin Default Melle. He is one of the few that have Stand Hit animation and done well I say.
For animation without those he is a solid 8.5/10 but with those kinda a 6/10.
