I know I am nothing special or anything and do not create maps but occasionally if I see a good map I will download it.
But recently Blizzard released a 1.24 patch for warcraft and as my battle net does not work I haven't gotten around to downloading the 1.24patch.
As well most of the old maps do not work in 1.24 patch. So, I was thinking why can't Hiveworkshop fix this?
Because I hate downloading a really good looking map and then open warcraft frozen throne and realizing darn I can't play this I don't have the right patch.
So, I was thinking Hiveworkshop could somehow include "Works with patch:" In the list.

If the map worked with patches 1.17-1.23 you would type "1.17-1.23" and if it worked with all patches then you would type "all" and if it worked only with 1.24 then you would type "1.24" etc.
This would be very helpful for the few thousand people that do not have the 1.24 patch and don't want to waste their download limit by downloading a map they can not even play.
Overall, I hope you like my idea and implement it.
Thanks,
Ke
