Ok, I am currently bored and decided to write up a few idea for the fun on it.

Strategem

Is your strategy worth the weight of diamond or would it be as worthless as the stone ?

What is Strategem ?

Strategem is the game that combine the genre of AOS and Tower Defense to form a new gameplay.

The mission was exactly like DotA and any other AOS genre map you seen, but the hero you use would be slightly different.

Hero doesn't have the ability to attack unit, but to build up offensive tower only. The mission objective is to build up those tower close to the enemy structure to destroy it and continue to expand till to the heart of the enemy base.

Once you make the fortress vulnerable by destroying those enemy defensive tower along any of the 3 path to the base (Defensive tower controlled by computer), build up the tower at the heart of enemy base to destroy the fortress in order to win.

It seems to be similiar to Castle Fight, but it doesn't considering the map genre is to build up a structure which generally produce army that automatically advance. As for Strategem, the genre is to build up a offensive structure and continue to expand the build up till to the heart of enemy base.

Even though by destroying those entire barracks that would respawn reinforcement (Army that controlled by computer), it would not ensue a victory over the player itself as the fortress have extremely rapid firing speed, high damage and fast life recovery speed.

The only option to destroy the fortress was to build up a structure as close as possible to the fortress to attack it and at the same time remain out of the attack range.

Hero List

The Napalm

This hero capable of building a offensive structure with fire ability. Those tower have AOE damage, able to burn enemy unit and structure and have excellent damage.

However, the structure build by The Napalm would generally have low attack range.

The Nova

The Nova structure are focus on ice ability, which gradually slow down enemy unit and have the capability to freeze enemy structure; rendering it from attacking.

The structure build by The Nova would lack of speed.

The Contaminate

This hero structure focus on poison, it could contaminate the area with poison for a period of time and most of it's attack able to slow down enemy the enemy and gradually reduce their life at greater speed.

Although it was excellent against unit, it was extremely weak against structure.

The Economist

It could prove to be a valuable asset to have at least 1 of this hero by your side. Although the structure build by this hero lack of everything, 1 thing it does not lack of would be the capability of generating income for everybody.

The tower have the capability to earn gold/lumber per hit or generate income.

The Fortificator

Structure build by this hero lack of damage, but the armor and hp of it prove to be likewise. It was a excellent structure to block or delay enemy army or to protect allies structure from taking damage over it.

The Decoy

You got it, this hero only have 1 offensive structure and the rest of the structure was fake structure. Those fake structure have same hp, armor, attack damage and etc etc as the real structure does. But, it certainly unable to attack anything at all.

Even though it seems to be useless, but it could be important when it comes to psychology warfare. Try imagine if the enemy seen a massive amount of ultimate offensive style structure.

The Striker

Structure are extremely vulnerable as it could be destroy by just a single hit and extremely costly as well, but that is the price it paid when the structure could deal a devastating damage to the enemy and could be fired at any part of the map.

It is recommend to have The Decoy and The Economist hero as they are the best par to team with.

The Buffer

It hardly have any offensive structure just like The Decoy does and most of it's structure unable to attack. However, the structure build by The Buffer have the capability to give a positive aura to nearby allies unit and structure and negative aura to the foe that could possibly change the tide of war.

The Barrage

Structure build by this hero could be a nightmare as it have moderate damage and range, but with the capability of attacking not less than 7 enemies at the same time.

What this structure lack at was the armor and the cost of it.

The hero variation seems good, at least. However, the entire idea sounds rather lame, combining good ideas of two genres doesn't automatically make the combination super-good. Basically, if you would find an enemy, the one who first finishes building a tower in range of attacking the enemy player has pretty much won that battle. I suggest giving the hero some kind of fighting abilities to go along with his ability to construct the different towers. Perhaps some abilities like Cloud or such, that disables enemy towers? I don't really know for sure, but I think something like this is necessary.
