Players: 1 (For the moment)
Map Phase: Alpha

StarCraft: Cave Battle, it's the second map that I'm developing.
There you can play with four different difficults: Easy, Normal, Hard and Insane. You play as a marine of the Terran Confederate by a Third Person Shooter System and a "Real Shoot System" (click to the marine and move it with the arrow keys, for shoot press "S", don't shoot the enemies to long distance. Don't forget that the ammunition isn't infinite!). Also you have the addition of hand grenades and landmines...
The map consists to kill the enemies (Zerg) around the cave tunel and conquer the zerg base (killing the enemy official/boss and arriving to the enemy cave entry).
Terran and Zerg troops spawn and respawn, these will be your best allies or your worst enemies.

For the moment I have only done the 51% of the map. You can download an Alpha version and opine :thumbs_up:

0.3 Alpha:

- The "Throw grenade" spell downtime is changed to 75 seconds.

- Fixed the hero marine respawn bug.

0.7 Alpha:

- Improved decoration.
- The hero marine life is sets to 200.
- Fixed the Mutalisk and Firebat death animations (with triggers).
- Now, you can't win the game without killing the enemy boss.
- Added ATT and UGP Zerg melee attack icons.

0.7.5 Alpha:

- Now, the cave tunnel is longer.

looks good but i can't test it, the game don't show the map on the list.

Edit : I put the map on test folder and i can test it
I don't know if it's because i play in french but for me the hotkey for shoot is the same as Stop and the hotkey for throw grenade is the same as hold position
i find a bug : when i die, i resurect but when i am close to my corpse the camera go to it so i can't play after
idea : make more differents unit for waves : siege tank, Infested marine, lurker, medic etc.
make the hero pick immediatly the ammunition when you walk on it
make more doodads : eggs, corpse etc.

good map, keep working +REP

Sometimes I had the same problem...
Try to put the map in a different folder in the Maps folder :wink:

I will try to fix the respawn bug.
I think the problem of the hotkeys is from the french version. Because I have the spanish version of the game, and that are not the same (the hotkeys).

The map is pretty good, but you should fix the bugs that Yan pointed out and reduce the map size.
Anyways, keep up the good work +REP

Hi,
I tested the map again :
like you said there is the respawn bug
bugs : Firebat death animation
When a mutalisk die, a green bolt stay
Ideas : enemy can drop grenade and mine
OR
Give grenade and mine to the player when he respawn

Keep in this way ;)
