Spell Range

When i edit the map in wc3 editor how do i determine how far apart is 900 (most auras have that range of aoe)? I want to make a spell wit area effect of a large region of the map, i know that the entire map is 9999 but how do i determine the distance in the editor.

When you hover your mouse over the map in WE it tells you the (x,y) coordinates of where your cursor is on the bottom right. So, just pick a recognizable point on your map, like the edge or something, and just move your mouse directly to the right (or any other direction as long as it isn't diagonal) and stop when the x or y coordinate of your new point is 900 units away from your starting point. Then, just judge the distance of 900 by seeing how far away ur cursor is from your starting point.
