I'm working on a conversion of the Priest model for the modelling competition.
I tried to customize the lightening effect on the priest's hand (when he cast a spell), by exchanging the yellowstar.blp (or something) texture for a custom one.
It worked fine as long as I exchanged it for a .tga pic in the viewer, and didn't change the animation path in the .mdl file.
But when I changed the file path, and converted the .tga to a .blp, it messed up.

How do I do this right?

The lighting effect is a particle emitter, which should use its own colour settings in its settings

You'll need to meddle with them in order to change what the actual emitter does
Define "meddle".
I could use a more specific answer, if anyone has one please tell.

Perhaps I wasn't clear enough.
I don't just want to change size, colour or direction.
I want to change the flash of light into a glowing eye. It worked fine in the Image Viewer, can anyone explain how I can make it work in WE (and in-game of cause)?
