    Note: This is According to the Spell Rules


    Compatibility
    • Currently, spells are allowed in Vanilla GUI (No third party GUI modifications), JASS, vJASS, and Zinc. All spells must work with the latest patch.
    Description
    • Spells must have an in-game screenshot and an adequate description.
    Performance
    • Spells must be free of bugs, leaks, unreasonable lag, and must be fully multiinstanceable.
    Usefulness
    • Spells must be useful. Extremely simple, cinematic, or other spells which have no place in a game will not be accepted.
    Genuinity
    • Spells must mimic in-game mechanics; for example, damaging spells must "pull" enemies and give bounty when they kill enemies.
    Configuration
    • Spells must be easy to configure (change their stats) and implement into a map. Documentation must be provided if the spell is not implemented with a simple copy and paste.
    Changelogs
    • Show users what you've changed in the new version.
    Credits
    • Give credits to the users who owns a Model/Icon/SFX/System in your spell
    Font Colors
    • The Font Colors must be Quite Dark, because if the Colors are Bright it can possibly blind a user. (NOT THAT BLIND) :D

    Nice job overall. The part about font colors is kinda subjective but it is fine.

    Note: I made the [hr] lines a bit shorter so that it won't stretch the page on smaller computer monitors. (or well, it might still stretch on some but it should be a bit better now for most)

    Sorry, I think it's not approveable.
    These are way too much effects and way to less focus on information.
    Make the fonts normal, try changing font sizes to make prioritizing,
    use real example data and explain the differences and why we should use any of them in which situation.

    doomhammer99, when you post a public resource you have to accept the consequences of criticism, which, in this very case you actively and provocatively ignore. The healthiest thing to do is to ask the reviewer to submit additional information and suggestions.

    And yes, to be less off-topic, you are here to provide a special Spell Template. The first template is enough for the public to get the point. However, this is not a tutorial, it's what you called it: a template.

    Edit: As far as I can see, there are additional templates in the Miscellaneous Tutorials section. These cannot really stay here, they should be hosted in the respective sections.

    Well I had a discussion a while back for posting templates. Since there is no real other "proper" place to post it, I decided that it would be okay if it was put in the tutorials section. We have had a few "site-specific" tutorials so I figured that these would be okay to have. Overall, if something is helpful and does not really have a place somewhere else then I will put it here. (you can see http://www.hiveworkshop.com/forums/...um-standards-expectations-information-217475/ for more info on why/what exactly)

    As for why I approved this, I suppose it is mostly because it shows an example of the tab feature. Also, it looks pretty nice (compared to most bland map descriptions) so it is still a step up from most things. Of course, there may be "better" ways of presenting a map, but it is really subjective.

    I do agree with you guys that this is kind of a simple topic and may not be exactly necessary, but I figured it was decent enough to tip the scales.
