Spectre/Ghost Ability Ideas

Hi,

I came here before for ideas for my Ogre faction in my autobattler map. (Thanks again!!)

Now I'm back for ideas for my Spectre faction! They already exist in my map but I'm not sure on them and think I would like to spruce them up somehow.

The units in their faction are all ghostly things like the neutral Ghost, Banshee, Revenant, Voidwalker etc.

At the moment their "faction bonus" in my map is that they get the Phase Shift ability and armor reducing attacks.

I think I'd like to replace the Phase Shift ability as it isn't all that helpful in the map's design, especially for the Revenant unit which is meant to be their frontline unit!

My ideas at the moment are something like a "fear" concept, attacks have a chance to "fear" enemies that causes them to be unable to attack/cast spells (soul burn without damage)
Or enemies that attack them have a chance to become feared, something along those lines

Alternatively I could look at something like a mana stealing ability (that could work for the map) or an on kill/on death ability?

Been scrolling around and am a bit stumped so thought I'd ask on here!

Possess Corpse: Kills the caster to animate a corpse. If the corpse is killed, the ghost reappears (well, causes the corpse to spawn one of the possessing unit) but the ability is on cooldown.

Call to the Grave: Targets a unit. Unit gets a debuff with increasing severity as time goes on, and if killed under the effect spawns a specter.

Ghostly Chill: Temporarily turns the specter ethereal and gives them a reverse unholy aura.

Inescapable Death: Summons temporary walls (using Force Wall model and pathing) in the target area.

Walk Through Walls: Gives caster temporary flying movement (still targeted as ground) and Evasion.
