Some spell Ideas for those out there[Souls]

Soul Eater - Leechs mana and reduce damage of attacked targets. This is a buff spell. While the hero/unit has the buff, every attack will leech mana and reduces attack damage of the attacked target. The damage reduction lasts X seconds. I suggest the buff time to be short and the mana absorption and damage reduction to be balanced depending on what anyone might use it for. In the case of dota:
Level 1 - 20 mana leech/reduce enemy attack damage by 5[per attack made]
Level 2 - 30 mana leech/reduce enemy attack damage by 10[per attack made]
Level 2 - 40 mana leech/reduce enemy attack damage by 15[per attack made]
Level 2 - 50 mana leech/reduce enemy attack damage by 20[per attack made]

However this skill is not very good for multiple targets if the hero does not have time to land a hit. It is effect against dps/caster heroes and single targets. It will be effective in team battles if the hero has time to attack.

If a soul were to be bitten, the owner of the soul would definitely lose strength hence damage reduction. As for the mana leech, the hero is eating the target's soul, regeneration its own mana while reducing the attacked unit's mana.

Soul Shard - Rapidly Crystalizes a shard made purely of the hero's mana[Soul]
at target area. Deals X damage over 2 seconds in the area as the mana concentrates.[The time has to be short cause of Rapidly] When the shard crystalizes, it will explode violently,knocking back enemies near it and stunning them. Deals X damage and stuns. Moderate mana cost suggested.

Enslaved soul - Releases a Soul that follows the hero around, comes out with some mana that drains over time to refill the hero's mana pool. When the mana reaches 0 or duration ends, the soul dissipates. While the soul is around, it attacks enemy heroes and deals damage to the heroes based on the hero's attribute[Your choice] The Soul can instantly explode to deal damage and slow. This affects the hero as well.

Enslaved soul [Version 2] - Releases a Soul that follows the hero around. While the soul is around, it drains the mana of the hero but attacks enemies based on the amount of missing mana from the hero. However if the mana of the hero reaches 0, the life of the soul will explode instantly to cause a mana vaccuum. This drains the mana of all nearby heroes. The soul can also manually explode to deal damage instead. When the duration of the soul ends, no effect will take place.

Woe of the Imprisoned - In the hero, the numerous souls that have been imprisoned within him to keep him alive are filled with hatred and vengeance.The hero is able to channel the emotions of the imprisoned to imbue his weapon/fists with dark energy. While this buff lasts, every attack made by the hero slows his target and silences his target.

Apparition - Focusing for a few seconds, the hero changes into his spirit form. While in this form, the souls that he had imprisoned before will flow around him as well. As they are without the physical prison[The hero's physical body] However they are still chained to him. While in spirit form, he can move through units and is invulnerable but cant attack or cast spells. Moving near enemy units will slow them down. However, staying in spirit form is draining for him and reduces his health and mana when spirit form ends. Can be cancelled manually. Lasts X seconds.
