Hello hive i got two questions.

1. if i create the event
  • Trigger - Add to trigger 2 <gen> the event (Unit - A unit comes within 100.00 of tempunit[1])
if i change the tempunit to another unit after creating that event will it still fire when a unit comes in range of the new tempunit?

2.(this question does no belong to this section) If i want to make a copy of a spel lfor example arcane explosion wich only deal damage to close enemys. if i upload that spell the moderator will say this is too simple and dont approve it but if i want to make a copy of that spell i cant make it more advanced

1. i dont tested but i am sure when u create the event then its isnt changed by time, i think its kinda fixed/static.

(maybe only diff. when u use game variable event)

example if u make in jass with local variable then also work what that unit even that function is over

1. Yes, it is fixed, doesn't change.

2. The concept is very simple, and such an ability won't take long to make and it is easy. The spell database would not benefit much from that kind of a spell, though I can see that it could be useful in maps.

Personally I'm not a fan of copied spells.

If you can add some originality and do a really good version of the spell, it could be approved.

An instant AoE spell that damages has been seen a thousand times already.
