So it's been a while since I can't create maps. Whenever I try to create one new map, it keeps loading and freezes there, forever loading and if I click somewhere it just launches error.

Strangely enough, I can still open old maps and keep working on them, but while I try to create new map or even change the terrain tile (wether beeing removing an added tile or just changing the whole tileset) the map just freeze.

I've tried to run the "analyze and repair" tool on the Bnet > W3 options but just takes too long. And tbh I'm sick and tired of unistalling and re-installing W3.

Anyone had this kind of problems before?

I think it all started a while ago when I imported a custom tile that I was re-coloring using photoshop. The map got corrupted and I could never again open it, luckily for me I was only starting that map so I lost nothing, but I think that was when the problem started...? I'm not sure tbh, it happened a lot time ago and since I could still open my old maps and save them without any problems I kind of forgotten about it. But if that were to be the problem, it has no sense for me to don't be able to create new maps ☠️

At this point i'm gonna open some random melee map with the tileset I want and delete everything lol.

Also, don't know if these errors when I opened WE means something?

Edit: I left the PC on while I analized and repaired but nothing seemed to happen.

As far as I can tell, these errors are "normal", at least I have the same and they don't seem to have a noticeable impact about the map itself

Which version of the editor are you using?

I'm using the last patch of the game, so I'm assuming is 1.36 (6115).

Update: I tried re-installing W3 but I'm still unable to create a new map.

I'm trying random stuffs to see if anything allows me to do so.

Edit Update: So... apparently I managed to create a new map. What I did was:

1) Open world edit.
2) Placed a random unit (I tried with Bloodelf Mage hero, spellthief, footman & human worker).
3) "Create new map".
4) Success.

It's pretty weird tbh. Hope this helps someone in the future.

From the looks of your attached screenshots (the error messages printed in yellow text), those are even discussed a long time ago.

Also, there is a small statements taken from Blizzard Forums regarding those errors.
Netsafe issues are a small mistake Blizzard made with an update to object data: not every SLK got updated to include the “netsafe” field, which is used for war3mapSkin.w3* file generation. The netsafe error is not harmful.
The PopcornFX rebaking error is a larger mistake Blizzard made, where not all pkb files in 1.33 are correctly loadable by the PopcornFX version that comes in the game. They have to fix these files for the errors to go away.

Though the second error (Failed to load Environment Map for tileset) is rather different (most peoples get "Tileset L" instead of "Tileset A", as you have it), it's still considered the same errors.
As Chaosium said, those errors didn't made a negative impact with your latest version of the World Editor.

Thanks for answering and that's good to hear!

Since it was strange that I couldn't create maps and I'm not sure when I started getting those yellow messages, I thought those were related. That's why I posted them together, just in case. But luckily it didn't have anything to do with it. I did look onto those yellow warnings after posting this just to be sure, though.

Finally, I did find a way to create a new map with the dimensions that I'd wanted. Kind of random, though.

Thank you.
