Snow Path

A new terrain I made.I don't think it's nice but anyway I posted it.

That looks great. The only thing I have to say is get rid of the ice chunk that is sitting on the ice, and it will be almost perfect.

Really good job man it looks really nice, keep it up and try to add diffrent types of snow tiles little more and it would be just about perfect.

I disagree with the rest of the people, I am not too fond of this piece. This is due to the following points:

Some of the trees are placed on the icy looking tile which doesn't look too good, they probably wouldn't root in such a place, it should be a snow or dirt tile instead.

The road is too thin, it looks more like an odd coincidence for a long stretch of dirt. Thicken it a bit.

The end of the picture looks too sudden, like at the end of the road the sky actually is like a big wall. You should have made some hills or mountains in the distance to break the feeling of a dead end.

The ice block in the front doesn't fit well with the blue icy tile, it would look good placed on snow though. Also, a snow man? Who would make a snow man such a place? And on the icy tiles?

The big blue rocks looks good, perhaps add a cluster more of those at some other point, but not too close to the camera as they don't look too good up close but make better for far away view.

The grass looks good and fits in well, but perhaps you could have placed some grass near the trees and such as well and not just in the middle of the picture?

The ice claw also fits well, add one or two others at different places perhaps.

Over all this is okay, but could be improved a lot. Work a bit and it'll turn out good in the end I'm sure.

Aye, I agree with raging, except for the road being too thin. I think it should just be spread out more over the place.
Also, that sky is great, very nice mix of clouds and ... something else!

The map doesn't finish there by the way,but I agree it's not looking good.I will try to find some time to update this one.

It seems as if you made the road go down, then up again later, which looks a bit bad - especially with the pointy hills.

Yay, found some flaws. Some of which that were mentioned by Ragingspeedhorn are going to be confirmed to be naughty moves:

• Trees are placed on ice. (At least use trees that blend with the ice)
• There are a lot of pointy hills and in a way, it looks flat.
• The grassy/dirt road looks bad. Ice, Grass, and Dirt all in one area looks pretty bad.
• The big ice spires in the background don't really fit.

Basically, all of what Ragingspeedhorn said is true. Fix the flaws please.

Didn't notice the snowman. I would take it out.

I'm not sure what it is about the road. Maybe it is the narrowness of it that troubles me. I may find a solution. Time to put on my thinking cap!

5/10, rather generic, better than most other stuff showcased here at The Hive, though that is not nescesarily amazing as most stuff showcased are horrible.

I'd have to say 5.5/10. You need to fix up your doodad placement, endings and the path. It looks bad because it's straight and all one sort of tile, a normal path would be rather 'dirtdirtdirtdirtroughdirtroughdirtdirtgrassydirt' etc, you get my point
