Smoothly move a unit?

You know how there's actions like "pan camera to position over this amount of time", is there any way to effectively move a unit to a point over a certain amount of time? I'm moving the unit every .05 seconds but that still leaves it looking jittery.

you're going to have to use JASS to do it. you can get it to move every 0.02 or even 0.01 seconds if you use JASS.

Id' rather not go below .05 because this is a multiplayer map for 12 people.

.05 will not be *smooth* 0.04 isn't even smooth. 0.035, or .03 is the best.

Use a knockback system to move it there, you should. You can import an existing one from the Hive or create your own.

Only way is to use a periodic timer. Frankly, no one cares whether its 0.3 or 0.4. I go for 0.4, since its easier to work with (it runs 25 times a second, quite a nice number).

As far as I know, this is rather smooth. Sometimes I use 0.05, but I won't recommend it.

Yea I suppose I could go to .04 or .03. It'd be nice to get it up to 60 fps, but that's not going to happen. I just don't want the game to lag because of the event.
