[Import] Skin and original model

So i have seen some people use both the original model and the skin and how can it is done.
Okay to explain a bit since i probably sound weird. I have the original footman model and i add a skin for that footman. I want to have both the original and the skin. Is there anyway to do something like that?

Uploading skins (no models)

this is just bc I thought it was funny that someone asked the same question yesterday...

in large - no, a model can only have one skin. the workaround that @Footman16 posted in the above link - slightly altering the model in a way that you can re-import it as a separate model.
