Im out of ideas im looking for some1 that can bring me some news ideas about simple armour sets designs


Magic gear
-Anything related with magic

Example

-Mainly idea is armour related with gems/crystals

Hey there. It would be cool if you were specific with what you call "gear design ideas"?

- Do you mean the "look" of the armor? Like the icons?
- Do you mean componets of a set? Like if we do magic robes set there should be a Hood, Robe, Gloves etc.
- Do you mean the mechanics of each armor set? Like Magic Robes give Mana and Magic Resistance and other amors give Health and Armor etc.

Perks can be:

Chance to reflect spells or reflec 1 spell every X seconds.
Drains mana of nearby units by X per X second.
Feedback ability?
Gain X mana when targeted by damage spells.
Have a small % chance to silence units on attack for X seconds.

etc, etc.

Hunter Gear (boots, gauntlets, vest, cloak, hood): Each piece of armor gives 2% Evasion and 1 armor. The full set gives 15% evasion, 6 armor and Shadowmeld when standing near a tree (even in daytime).

Magebane Garments: Each piece of armor gives 2% Magic Resistance. Full set gives Resistant Skin and Spell Block.

Manathirst Amulet: Every piece of the amulet causes every attack received to restore 1 mana. Full set restores 10 mana per hit and gives Feedback.

Swordsbane Robes: Each piece gives 15% Evasion but also 15% Curse. Full set makes the wearer Ethereal.

If I'm understanding this correctly it's actually a good idea if done right.

Make sure you create triggers that drop items of the same class if newer/other similar items are picked up.

Create a trigger that makes sure you can only carry 1 of each.

As far as ideas:

Armor that reduces magic/spell attacks by 25%

Armor that reduces physical attacks by 10 damage

Boots that make the enemy miss 20% of the time

Boots that enhance the wearer's speed by 15%

Gloves that add 10 damage to attack

Gloves that cause the attacked to take poison damage

Cloak that makes you invisible

Cloak that gives a good bonus to regeneration.
