SILVER WATER - AN ORIGINAL 2015 MELEE MAP

My first original 2015 melee map.

Description: The Silver Water has discovered. Can you survive it?

Map Specifics:
  • 3 Gold Mines
  • 6 Neutral Buildings
  • Creep camps... i don't know how to count?
Change Log:
  • v0.1: Map released, before we will fix terrain, doodads & units.

Well, hello new mapper!
Unfortunately, making melee maps has tons of hidden traps, and you have made many of the typical rookie mistakes:

-Creeps should not block paths.
-Creeps should be on camp stance (i.e. they should be appear in blue) unless they are guarding goldmines.
-Every player needs an expansion for himself, otherwise the game cant be balanced in some matchups.
-Itemdrops are completely imbalanced.
-Trees too far way from main buildings.
-Gaps between trees.
-Paths are too narrow. Dead ends should better be avoided.

Please open a few regular melee maps in the editor and check their creeps and itemdrops, main bases, etc. Or you could read some of the guides referred in my signature.
This map is not beyond saving, but it requires heavy updates with regards to the issues I mentioned (and maybe also some others after that). Until then, map set to Awaiting update.
