[-] As things stand right now, this is just too simple of a modification to be approved. If you can somehow make SIGNIFICANT changes (add a custom texture, for example) it might be acceptable. The model should be renamed to something other than "Battleship."

Yeah, add more to it. i liked the sails, try adding flags, cannons, a new deck perhaps ? try taking parts of other alliance ships for this (ex: the destroyers captain's quarters would suit this VERY well)

Try adding a second deck as well, currently the ship looks rather small, it would be neat for it to be a more flagship size

Also if you manage to make it attack from the sides, not from the front, like a real ship would, this would be gold.

Yess. even if you could make the side cannons create smoke when a fire anim is played, that would be good enough. Add a few cannons on the top deck too, that would make the ship way more bad-ass !

Is there a way for it to randomly fire out of cannons? Like, it attack from one, and then another, etc?

Make the ship much longer.

It seems that wc3 only allows firing from the front of models. Thus even you make the side cannons fire, it would not be realistic.

It isnt very useful in my opinion. Its too much like the other ship. But, If you were to add something unique to it, it would probably be very useful.
It is a nice model though =]
