I'm moving for the fall and the winter I was wondering will I be able to play from there with my US active account ?
Or I should buy new copy here and make new registration there?
Or should buy new copy there and activated there?
And I really don't want to spend more on my weakness towards Star Craft 2.
Please answer!

Where you play is determined by your install file - is it US/EU client. The registration key also determines it, but your IP certainly not. Thus with your US key, you cant use in EU even if you use EU client, unless you have also EU key. Until they give us X realms that I hope will be like the old bnet, just changing server, 2 installations that's mega retarded.

Look. On the back of your box it says "For (insert area here) Only!" Or something like that. If you want to analyze it more, Sc2 has 6 kinds of CD keys. First of all, the 3 basic, the normal ones. The ones you buy. And the 3 trials. All for each area, NA, EU, AS.

Now, if you live in the US, and have an EU key, you will be able to connect to the EU server. You can assign all 3 regions' keys on your account, for each region. You can have all 3 keys. BUT. Here's the problem. You can't use the same client. You need US client for US keys, EU for EU, and so on.

The server each client uses is based on the version of Sc2 you are using. It's highly encrypted in your game files, and not viewable by a human's eye. In the future, we will all use the same client.

Why do you go from there to:

Other regions? Please share Your knowledge about them.

if you bought urs in North America, you play in the north american region. If you move to australia, europe, or anywhere else and log on with that cd key, you play on the north american region server. If you want to switch region AKA server area AKA going from North America to Europe, you have to wait for them to design software for it or buy one in Europe.

End of story.

Why do they hate us Europeans?
Is it because we did not give them representation in parlament 300 or so years ago?

I'm sure it has nothing to do with politics but like their map contest, with something related to their games. Russia is already separated as a server, so they wouldn't be afraid of laggers on US server.

Considering Europe is the second strongest continent of SC2 gamers after Asia, that's unacceptable. Maybe this news is just old but when I make a thread about bnet 2, I would ask that question about when we will have cross realms, though I dont wanna do it with my acc on their forums so..

Can you post in the forums with a guest pass account?
