Save and load

hi there can someone help me with one problem. I want save and load like in 2 P Campaigns but i want do one player can Save Two hero witch gathering tome of inteligence etce etc and items ofc or more game for two or three player . to remind i dont do this in Campaign for one player but for two or more then dont say its very easy if you do campaing for one player i know how do that

One has to track the all tomes the heroes acquire during play and re-apply them to their heroes on load.

Otherwise it is the same as any RPG save/load, but with different values being saved. One might have to use multiple codes if there is a lot of state to save, eg multiple heroes and campaign flags. Using one of the file IO based save/load systems would make players lives easier.
