I have tried all thing that i can think of, but the salamander still 'run' when attacked, how to make them stand still and attack instead of run, also i didn't want to use 'can flee - true'
That's your only option I'm afraid. You could order it to move at its position, whenever it takes damage, but that would cause severe problems to the orders' queue of your unit.
Of course it can; "Can flee" flag makes it feel threatened, whenever it gets attacked, adopting the realistic behavior of avoiding a threat that cannot be harmed back.
If you order it to move, it will indeed keep the unit stationary, but it will interrupt orders, such as channeling a spell (which is a periodic order). If you use SetUnitX/Y, apparently the "unit takes damage" event runs prior to the Can flee flag = makes no difference. If you move it as of "Unit - Move unit (Instantly)", it will interrupt any order.
I do not understand what are you talking about. If your salamander is running from attacking unit that can mean two things.
1. Attacking unit is Invulnerable.
2.Salamander has no attack.
So, is there any other way?, btw in the first place the salamader has aoe attack, and i have removed it, but still, it runs when attacked by a vulnerable attacker... TT
