Maybe some of you've noticed the title in the art gallery. I decided to officially announce this project as the first map is more or less complete.

Overview:
"Saas and Enulaya: World of Warcraft Begins" is a campaign project created by me which strongly emphasizes on Blizzard's game World of Warcraft in a humorous way. It has been under development for the past couple of months, and recently I finished the first map. I had to halt the production due to school and vacations, but now I plan to continue the project. Currently the draft work is done for all the future missions, and the campaign is in alpha stage. The campaign features a humorous approach to the conflicts in WoW, a variety of custom models, environment, sound sets and music. I will share the first mission with the community and would appreciate any constructive criticism. I will update this thread with betas of the next maps as well.

The Story:
The story presents the events leading to the conflicts in Blizzard's MMORPG World of Warcraft. It concentrates on the Horde's point of view through the eyes of a mediocre tauren hunter, a clumsy troll shaman and a lone, white wolf. The story begins three years after Archimonde's defeat in the lush fields of Mulgore...

The Characters:

Saas Blackhorn: One of the protagonists, Saas is a young tauren, whose dream is to become an epic hunter and experience great adventures. During the Third War he stayed hidden among the tauren civilians, as he was not qualified to fight. During the last two and a half years Saas has showed impressive marksmanship skills, yet is classified as a total n00b at beastmastery and survival. "What you need, young Saas, is a healer..."
(Saas is actually an existing lv70 hunter on the Killrogg server, one of the best hunters on the server and belongs to my best friend, so credits for the inspiration.)

Enulaya Ikum-bokum: Enulaya was born in the harsh jungles of Ferelas, and like Saas did not participate in the Third War. Along with her sister, she was trained in the arts of voodoo and shamanism. Though she proved much clumsier than her sister she proved to be a fine healer, and when furious enough- a dangerous opponent. Enulaya was never good with maps, and tended to get lost in the jungles be it in Kalimdor, or the Eastern Kingdoms...
(Enulaya is a Killrogg hero as well, she was mine until I quit WoW an year ago.)

Mli: Strange as it may seem, Mli is a somewhat intelligent wolf, which has astonishing vitality and howls so fiercely, he could scare an ogre with ease...

Mell Moonwhisper: Mell Moonwhisper is currently a powerful elven hunter and assassin who works as a ranger-major of the Sentinel army. Though her arrows are deadly, Mell always wished to become a feral druid. The problem was that she got kicked out of Druid School for reasons classified by the Darnassus officials.

Gareth Ked: Gareth was an experienced wizard during the Three Great Wars. His career began as a young conjurer during the Azerothian war with the Horde. Later, he fought alongside the magi of the Kirin'Tor against the cunning orcish Deathknigts. When the third conflict began, Gareth miraculously survived the destruction of Dalaran and traveled to Kalimdor with Jaina Proudmoore's expedition. During his travels, Gareth observed the warlocks' powers, and soon became obsessed with them. He tried to explain that demonic magic was more powerful than the mere arcane art of the archmages, and that humanity should "fight fire with fire", but gained few followers. Three years later, Gareth had secretly become a master of infernal magic, and the voices of the fallen Burning Legion whispered into his heart...

Gallery:
I've made a gallery thread with screenies from the first map. I will probably update it as well. Go to the SaE:WoW Gallery.

Mission One Beta:
And now, for the beta version of Saas and Enulaya: WoW Begins first map. No credits in it yet, sorry. I will definitely add them in the next release. There is no custom music and sounds in this release, for the file size becomes too big. Enjoy and give criticism. :pal:

I just played this. For the first level it's ok, but you need to focus more on the actual fighting and abilities/items over cinematics and custom models. The cinematics are great, but I got a bit bored eventually having to watch so many. Good humour though, and a well mapped first level. Good luck with your campaign.

Ok I tried map.
Got a snack and ended up dead.

Could you make a way to revive or restart the map without climatics up to where you are.(I would prefer the first one) because it was annoying to have to watch everything again.

You are very good with terraining, but the cinematic triggers and map bounds need work. Also the building that you come out of is able to be attacked and should be invulnerable. I could go on with some bugs like this but how about this...

Why don't you transform your efforts here into helping the guys over at WC3WoW with terraining and lore. Otherwise it will be very hard to complete with their WoW campaign.

Well, WC3WoW is not exactly a campaign now is it.

I would gladly help the team if they have any requests which I could fulfill, but this is a project I have been workin' on for a long time (the story and concept took me ages) so I would not want to abandon it.

Heck if I'm lucky, I could get it hosted in the future...
