I relly liked the last ones you gave me, But if they become a issue of lag, then we can use these.

I cant change the color, Only can adjust the red value for these, not sure why.
I cant click on them, And its harder for me to see the detail because there full RED, But if they look the pretty much the same, they no reason not to use them

I am not going to suggest you do too much work yet, let me play with the current models first, i just dont want you to have to do more work then required, and latter on tell you guys i need something changed.

So In other words, i suggest wait on doing it, but if you do, and i can change the color and they are basically the same, then i will update them.

Edit * Starting this weekend, every two weeks, ill release versions, on the other page for this game, ill put link up soon. They wont be finished products, but just to show progress, and to let you know i am working on it.

Ok ok, How do i put this simply.

I am still focusing on the coding, and i have enofue for the next month or so. then ill be alot more interested, in the models, and ill know my restrictions, and minor changes needed.

But, that being said....if your excited about it now, and have faith i can get everything to work as i hope, then feel free to model. Just know it may need minor changes latter, as i cant quite define how everything will work so whats needed. :)

Yes Bloody_Turds, white is good, yes, custom skin, is also a cool idea, i would love to see how it turns out. if it turns out good then thats great. by the way cool idea, about team color, i prefer not to do it that way, at least for now.

3rgytr54

Thats also a cool idea.
Ill look for a cart for you.

I might post the map sooner then latter, because i am finishing the user interface tonight. Still just X,Y. currently.

Edit* on 2ed thought, my class is going on forever, i might just sleep after my cs162 class...

Edit* Ok, I was gonna realase a version to you guys, but i started to add alot more stuff, and now its all jacked up. No worries, ill figure it all out. Maybe by end of Thanx Giving week.

current things i will run into, by that point, is Roateing a person so they can do a back flip, we will see how that works out. But thats at least a few days ahead of me.

Here is current Build. *More current Check Next Post

Its still got alot of work to do. Most of the reasons the tracks don't line up right is my triggering, ill work on that. But may need a few minor adjustments latter.
To Play, Put a comp in for the other team, and Go to the bot right hand of the map, and build your coaster.

I need at least 2 more weeks, before i get most of it right. I just need more time. LoL So, this isnt ready to be released in any form, but i wanted to show the people working on it that i am getting there.

Quest Menu is way out of date. Type "Debug" In game to see more info on whats going on. It should help make it simple to see how it works

Map Isnt Locked. If your interested in viewing the triggers.

*Updated , Ill update this map soon, got alot more work done. Hmm Less then 2 weeks from today (Today Dec 2) i should have everything except a few models To finish the Build.
But i wont know what ill need exactly intill then.

What i did Model Wise.

I made a copy of all the models, but in each one i had them roate 180 degees off "centre of mass" instead of "pivoit point".
I did this because when warcraft would rotate the track it would do it from the "pivoit point". And when it did this it wouldn't be exactly right. That is because the pivoit point was off center or warcraft just does an approximate.

I also Changed Back to some old models that were all the same length. I know had my math right, but the models i had were what you said, but not 100% what i needed.
But this part works just fine now. And I cut alot of code going back to the same length models.

I added The models i currently using now to the zip.

----------------------------------------------------------------------
My issue. The Back side of the models are dark. why? one one set of models its dark on the other side. Thus in the game looking terrible. Any idea how to fix?

My guess is its something to do with the shading or the texture got reversed backwards. If there even is a texture, i am not good with models. Perhaps its a war craft setting.
----------------------------------------------------------------------
The current map is 1.1 And its got alot of changes. Feel free to check it out.
Type "Debug" in game, and make more tracks for more info.

After the darkness issue is resolved. we will move on. there are two more things with the tracks that may need adjustment after that. But its getting really close. Lets focus on that for the moment.

*I added Pics to show what i mean

Thnx!

Its perfect Except for some reason, The 90 degree one doesn't line up. I not sure. But anyway i found a older 90 degree one that does, but it still has the shadow. If you could remove it for me i would be happy :)

Or if you tell me how, and its fairly simple i can do it.

Edit*

No More help needed.
