I was thinking about those cycling feet too. I don't know if you could have the same stand animation then, though. I can't remember if the feet rotate independent of the body, or they reorient when the upper body turns. The main goal of this model was to make the feet independent.
Maybe you could have a geoset that is legs, a geoset that is rotating rocks (with a global sequence, independent or not) and another geoset with rock feet that cycle. Thats where the problem is, swapping between those last 2.

It doesn't look like they rotate independent of the body, and he only has 1 Stand animation so it doesn't break the orbit of the rock feet.
