I always hoped that the Wc3 novels suitable for a RTS campaign (i.e ones that cover the rise of a power as opposed to a single character) would all be converted into custom campaigns. The Rise of the Horde is one of the two Wc3 stories that have not been converted a custom campaign that are in this category, so hopefully someone will realise this goal in the future (the other "story" is the War of the Ancients trilogy, the dream series for Warcaaft custom campaign fans that will probably be forever out of reach).
