Hello, I was just wondering if that which I've stated in the header is possible. Essentially I want to make region palates serve a purpose of path-blocking; which should be more flexible than pathing textures.
Assuming rects are meant then using triggers it is possible. One can iterate a rect applying pathing to the map cells within that rect. One would have to feed the regions into some function at map initialization to do this. Warning, the function might hit the trigger thread op limit due to how many cells must be iterated.
Maybe try using Hive WE (see site news). One can brush the pathing map directly with that, although the result will likely be lost once saved with normal WorldEdit.
If you want dynamic pathing blockers (change during game play) then use pathing maps or iteratively filling areas cell be cell using triggers.
