Well, I wonder if there's a root ability in WarCraft to increase/decrease the armor of a unit using real numbers instead of integers.
Ie: 1.3 armor; -2.6 armor; etc...

I'm really in need for that.

    Thank you in advance!

The answer looks very easy to me. So easy that it's for sure wrong.
However I see that the simple Devotion Aura can be edited with negative and real values! You just need to hold down shift when clicking to edit them...

Devotion aura should work just fine ^^

    Default settings are 1.50, 3.00, 4.50.

For negative value just hold shift.(You know it)

And you can simply see by "0.00" if it's real it has 0.00 and it's integer it's just 0.

Thanks to you both... but I wanted to use an ability specific to only one target, not an aura...
Any of you people have any idea about that?

    EDIT:
There is a way around it to make an aura target a single unit, but to avoid any possible bug, I'd prefer a target-able root ability... yet if there's none, then I'll use the aura... =)

The thing is that I want to give it to a dummy unit in order to affect the another unit.
What I can do is make the area of effect 0.01 and move the dummy with the caster... yet bugs are possible...

Well I'll wait some more to see if anyone has any idea on a target-able ability :)

    Again, thanks BZK!

Nope, I can't think of any other armor related ability that have real amount of armor :<

But if I think deeper I think I once saw armor detection system or something, maybe you can use it, I'm sure it was on Hive.

Still you can use disabled spell book, and give that ability to the unit, cutting out the dummy ^^
