Radio Tower

So umm, I just posted an overhaul to this model.

It's a big overhaul, very big, maybe even the biggest.
I built a complete overhaul of this radio tower, and nobody updated this radio tower better than me, believe me, and I updated it very inexpensively, I updated a great, great radio tower on our southern border. And I had Mexico pay for that radio tower update

I don't remember all the other versions before this

v.5F
Mesh:
- Rotated ladder to face forward and added large wires on each side
- Rewrapped UV maps
- Various adjustments to the tower's frame
- Added:
  • 3 Radar dishes
  • 4 Antennae attachments
  • Large light bulb at the top
  • Polygons for the light itself (so it will scale better, unlike the old particle emmiter)
  • Large central concrete foundation under the ladder
- Removed collision shapes because they were causing issues with selection, hopefully all the new polygons make up for the model's selection performance

Animations:
- Added Stand Work so Stand Alternate can be a light-always-on animation
- Exaggerated the Stand Work anim by adding more particles
- Added Purge sound event for welding effect during birth
- Added Impale sound event for impact sounds of each radar dish during death
- Added an ice-textured plane to the Portrait to act as a filter
- Tweaked rain and cloud particles of the Portrait

Radio Tower
By JB_McKnight

One of man's greatest structures in today's modern day society, the Eiffel Tower--errhhh, no, I mean the Radio Tower.

Radio signals are heavily reduced in strength when it is mostly obstructed by buildings and other obstacles of cities causing for low signals and bad YouTube video loading speed. And since this is such a heavy crisis since a whole lot of people wouldn't be able to watch cute cats - and dogs - and Llamas - and 9gag; Earth's greatest minds came up with the idea of having radio waves travel through routes, being passed on and on and on and on and on and on to different "checkpoints" until they reach their various destinations. And that's how these buildings come in; as the different checkpoints that pass along the valuable radio signals.

Objection:
You dumbo! The internet doesn't use radio signals! Radio signals are only for the radios, the internet obviously uses internet signals. Seriously, get your facts right! Like that time you said that the sun is a freaking star, I'm a nerd girl and I know that the sun is a sun, not a star you idiot! #ImSmartYourNot #Me #Facebook #Hashtag #Famous
Answer:
FALSE, all wireless connections and links are using radio waves/signals. They are called radio waves because of the way that the signals travel which is through a radiation motion(continuosly growing outwward in all directions). Science, Bi'atch!

Building Code of Conduct:
NO dressing up as Batman, Superman, and especially NO Spiderman then climbing to the top of the Tower screaming YOLO.

Motion:
This structure comes with a custom Birth Animation as well as a Custom Death Animation, and with matching Special Effects and Event Objects for an outstanding constructing/wrecking experience.
This structure also comes with an enhanced portrait animation.

Custom Out-of-Warcraft materials used:
None

However, there is a minor problem; It is nigh unselectable in-game. I suggest you add a collision box, and then re-calculate the extents. Both can be easily done in Magos. Also, the ladder sinks through the ground a bit too much during "Death", you might want to fix that(leave the sinking to "Decay" :p).

Deolrin: It's still incredibly difficult to select in-game, but I suppose that's by no fault of yours. I think it must be because each part is so thin, because the box foundations are the easiest way to select it.
Either way, it's a wonderful modern-day structure, with an extremely lovely portrait, as well as good Birth and Death animations. Great job... Approved!

Me walking bacc to Hive and breaking my curse of not submitting any resources in years even though I had a stuff ready to upload:

So uh, hello again everyone!
I finally submitted the updated version of this model (long overdue).
-- is this technically a necro?
The update is complete now, but I might add more to the description in the future. There were other stuff I wanted to add to it... but I forgot what they were ._.

Now that the ice is broken, I'll see if I can get started on those other stuff I never got to post as well.
