Am making/almost done with a map called race conquest, This map is inspired by the map Conflict of Sereg d'or by Panther antro.
Spawning system:
You get 1 gold every 1.5 sec. You have 4 main buildings, each of them have a couple of things you can research. If you research a thing, lets say.... Guardian Golem, these golems will spawn every 120sec in your base. If you research frost golems too, you get Guardian Golems and frost golems every 120seconds in your base. The reason I have 4 main buildings is: example: If I want to kill an enemy that is stronger then myself, I can use a tactic to kill a weaker player, kill all his forces, except I'll leave 2 main buildings. His Spawns will be halved, and he will be forced to work with me.
Races:
1 - Furbolgs and Night elves.
Some Night elves have gone to refuge to the furbolgs, because a massive portal has opened in their base, and it has corrupted most nelves into satyrs. Those few that remain is fighting along with their Furbolg friends.
2 - Undeads:
The undeads is only here to corrupt the land. The undead have the weakest hero, but then again the best hero. The Hero has the ability to summon a massive undead army in a fallen city, thus creating tons of undead units and upgrading the hero. He also get special units when other races research things. (Like Golems research war golems, then the undead get a few Flesh golems.)
3 - Golems and dragons
I've heard from a few friends that dragons and golems dont fit. Well, in this story, the dragons are the protectors of the world, and the golems are mindless beings created by the elder dragons to serve them. Over the years, the corruption from the undead have driven them mad, thus wanting to destroy everything, instead of protecting them.
3 - Satyrs (Not yet created)
The satyrs emerged from a portal in a Night elf base. When the portal opened, it corrupted several night elves into an evil and more cunning version.
Events that I've created:
After some time, the golems find a mineral vein inside their caves, thus increasing their armor.
Furbolgs get a choice later in game to either free more night elves (thus getting another hero) or create a furbolg army.
The undeads can use their hero to summon a massive army in a fallen human city. And they can get some undead units when other people researches stuff, like mentioned above.
I need more events! Its not enough! I would love to hear ideas for more races, units, events, heroes. Yeah, anything. Am also thinking about recruiting a partner for this map. You have to know triggers and stuff.
Progress on finished things (yes, I know that doesn't sound logical.)
Terrain done:
98% done on all I've created, the map has about 30% terrain that haven't been done anything on, it is left this way for future races. I have worked alot on terrain, since its one the things that I love.
Units done:
I would say 50% of all the units are done.
Spells and such:
About 40% of the spells are done.
