Quiver of Arrows (no team color)

Submitted by InfernalTater
This bundle is marked as approved. It works and satisfies the submission rules.
A quiver of arrows, so that your units will never run out!
This time with no team color!

When I made this, I did not know there was already an arrow quiver on hive, but, now that I've looked at the other quiver, I might as well explain what makes mine different:
Things that make my model a useful alternative:
+Kitabake's model is simply a rip straight off of a unit's back, while mine has been made.
+My quiver contains more than 3 arrows, and the arrows have distinct feathers, rather than a single flat image intended to look like an arrow.
Things that make Kitabake's model useful in comparison to mine:
-Kitabake's model has a lower file size (although both models have a low file size, his is even smaller)
Update 5/15/11
--Lowered file size by .03 KB. Yay.
Update 5/7/11
--Updated preview
--Updated model name
Update 5/3/11 Created 6:50 AM:
--Removed previous arrows
--Now uses arrow feathers
--File size lowered reasonably.

Update 9/05/12
--Re-uploaded the model. After seeing many of hiveworkshop's greatest resource developers leave, I decided to re-submit my resources after them being gone for over a year. I shouldn't have let my pride cause me to take my resources down so long ago. Anyway, I hope some people find use in this.

Firstly, this is actually a pretty bad model, I need to do some work on it.
Secondly, don't say "+rep" if you don't actually add to my rep. That's even worse than when people say "5/5" without rating.

this models neat, i like your ideas these are nice attachments im finding them extremely useful in my map.

this ones a bunch of arrows, but theres so crammed its hard to tell if the ends of these arrows we see are arrow heads or feathers, it looks like arrow heads, which is counter intuitive to a quiver.

still neat, and useful not as a quiver of arrows but of random spikes. thats problobly not your intention but thats what i would use this for.

    7/10

Its nice concept but it does need a little work as you yourself have noted, I will say I think this is the only quiver attachment I have ever seen here on the hive. For it to look like a true quiver the arrows fletching needs to be sticking out, not the arrowheads themselves.

Overall its a good first attempt at a quiver, and I'm looking foward to when you update it.

EDIT: Now that you've fliped the arrows It looks much better now, so I'll give you a 4/5, but it still needs a little work.

    Regards,

    Jake

there is another quiver model jake command wolf, by kitabatake, its got green feathered arrow shafts and looks night elf-ish, i liked it, but id also like to see what TLI-Inferno could do if he swaped these arrow heads with arrow tails, other wise i still think its a bag of spikes =)

btw im sayen that to irritate you to fix it !!! =)

I know, I couldn't fix it in the past two weeks because new comp, didn't have it set up, and Magos wasn't working yet. Now that it is, I can get to work using Magos's War3ModelEditor and notepad... Yes, I know, adding and removing vertices and textures via notepad is a hassle...
Edit: Model is fixed, preview isn't. Ignore the spiky preview for now. My image programs aren't registering properly, so if anyone wants to save me some time by making a preview with the same style, feel free to, and send me the preview to upload.

this looks beautiful now my GOD ITS GORGUS! OMFG! makes my map look so much more pro. its no longer a bag of spikes its now officially a bunch of arrow feathered shafts.

much much better looks pretty sweet. better then the other one by kitabatake, no offence to kitabatake, but if you want your arrow quiver to look more in place for all races rather then just green arrowed night elf quiver, then this is your attachment.this how ever gos quite well with kitabatake's Bows.

7.5/10 this is a pretty fucking awesome attachment.

I have much respect for kitabake, so if a model of mine is better than his, that makes me feel pretty good :D
Kitabake has made tons of simple attachments which are useful for customizing units, and I still use his models in my maps today!
Although atm I'm too sick to laugh. When I breathe through my nose, it sounds like a radiation meter >.<
