Quick question

If I have a custom in game minimap picture, is there any way to make it so it is always visible (ie. not covered up by fog of war). I need fog of war in my map, so getting rid of THAT is not an option. Is there a way to keep fog of war from being displayed on the minimap?

Why would you need to take away the fog of war on the minimap, when you dont want to take away it from the map? Doesnt make sense for me... :S

I'm not sure, but I think you can switch fow off in either gameplay constants or with one of the "game" triggers.

That work, but i think he wants the fog of war remvoed from the minimap, i dont think thats able to do.

Take a screenshot of your completed minimap, that is NOT covered by fog of war, then convert it to the file required.

Then use it.

The thing is is that I have a custom minimap image (nothing all that great, it just looks a bit confusing when you can only see 1/4 of it).

It's not a big deal though.

Than you have to big minimap image? Change it to (whatever the size for minimap is) and it shouldnt be any prob.?

Oh, no no no. I mean you can only see 1/4th of it because the fog of war is covering the rest. That's why I was wondering if there's a way to disable fow in the minimap, but not in the game.

Maybe if you disable the black mask + fog, take a picture in game, import the minimap without black mask or fog nad use that?

Umm... it's not a minimap image really. It's just a creepy picture of a burning smiley face. There isn't any fog of war on it to begin with.
