Hey guys, I have a question. Can I assign different parts of a single geoset to different bones? If yes, how can I do this and with what tool? I recently merged an arm geoset to a body geoset and I want them to use the same texture. I was wondering if I could assign the arm to one bone and the body to another. Can I do this?

You need Oinkerwinkle's geoset merge for that.

Yep, you can do that. You can use what Frankster said or you might use mdlvis.

You can rig the whole thing with Oinkerwinkle's Vertex Modifier, it's quite fast and easy. In fact, it's faster to do it than explain how, if you post the model I can fix it for you.

Are you referring to assigning vertex groups to matrices?

I think so, because that's how you assign them to bones D:

Is there a way to display the bone names instead of the numbers so I wouldn't get confused?

Only in MDLVix, not in vertex modify.
However you can open the mdl in notepad and just look at the names.
