Putting a song in Warcraft 3 - Illegal?

Well, I just thought about this...after having about six quadrillion arguments with the entire Staff here...would it be illegal to put a song, (one that you can only get by buying at a store, or finding it illegally), in a map, and host it on Battle.Net, thus giving the song to other people, which would be the same as giving them a copy of a burned disk?

If it was illegal it'd pretty much almost be 99% pointless to add a Sound Editor.

Buddy, it IS illegal.

It's just that nobody is going to bother suing someone for using a song in a small meaningless mod for a game... If they could sue someone anonymous behind a nickname in the first place.

Besides, there are songs and sound effects that are royalty free... It's like saying the import manager is useless because 99% of the models you'll find on the internet or other 3d games can't be used in warcraft. That fact doesn't make the other 1% of models on e.g. the hive useless...
