that pure-pumpkin bit could use a better texture.. just to have a little bit of detail to it..
maybe with a blend detail over, like for teamcolor?

I have been searching for a while for a more solid orange color that is not so bland among the textures but have had no luck so far (the team texture was the first thing I saw so I used it for now). Please let me know if you so happen to spot a good texture ^_^

I have to agree with Misha and Stopcamp, the orange looks a bit weird and a picking another texture would be necessary for that part. I would also suggest adding a slight steam particle effect to the pie, as well as giving it birth and death animations.

That way one would be able to use it as an item, not just a doodad.

Whew, I am still looking for a better texture since I already 100% agreed, just got up from bed : )

Oh and I might give them a birth and death animation for ya but while the normal pie actually already steams, Pumpkin pie is actually a pie you eat cold ^_^.

I told you to overlay a blended TC texture over the orange and get some detail.. only thing different from TC is that'll be only-orange

now go look at the TC textures to see which one looks pie-ish

Update:

Ok, fixed the texture to something better after trying out a few different things and also added a simple birth and death animation and changed the steam off of the pie to look better. : )

TOTALLY, time to open up a bakery and the Hive does not have a lot of food props lol

(huge fan of baked goods even though i don't eat them often, although you can bet I am have-in some pumpkin pie this thanksgiving!)

I was wondering the same thing... updating the picture seems to be very buggy on the hive as it can sometimes never change or just take a long time for some.

(for me right now its changed but when i click to zoom in it brings up the old stale orange pumpkin pie)
