Why is the rum gone...

Now then, fine Bastards of this group type Gentlemen, what is your poison of choice?

Are you a beer-lover?
A burning sensationalist?
Maybe wine is your thing?

Or, if your preference isn't alcohol then... You're not a Gentleman Bastard.

Name me your utmost pleasurable classy drink of any given evening,
set with all the necessary aromas and environments.

You're hand.

[REACTION=http://beerblotter.files.wordpress.com/2009/12/rochefort_beers_1__big_52531.jpg]Trappiste Rochefort.

Should be a given.
For any occasion.
Fucking Belgium.[/REACTION]

Then we drift to different shores and different fields of labels to find single malt elegance, mother nature's finest.

I don't always drink beer, but when I do...

I prefer many kinds, for by no means worthy of mentioning I am no professional beer taster, I'm simply specific about what I like.

Pictures will be provided for some:

San Miguel (Especiale):

- San Miguel is a quality beer from Spain,
it is brewed on corn and gives of a perfectly balanced
mid-dark/mid-light aromatic taste, good for any situation.

Kronenbourg.

- Kronenbourg is a French beer, and til now the only
French beer I've ever tasted, I am quite sure the beer
itself hails from the town of Strasbourg in eastern France,
close to Germany. It is a fairly light beer with rich taste,
serves well in a sunny day to a good match of chess.

Jacobsen Dark Lager:

- Jacobsen Dark Lager is a fairly new thing in Norway,
I reckon, but going by the bottle it's been around and
in production since 1799. This is a fairly dark ale and
is not for just anyone, it has a specially good taste of...
Oh fuck me, I've not had enough of it yet to tell you
exactly what it tastes, it's good. It's not your average
"drink lots and get drunk" kind of beer, but then no
truely great tasting beer is.

New Castle Brown Ale.

- A dark ale from Newcastle,
most people know it and many people like it.
It's simply a good dark ale for any Darksiders.

Nøgne Ø's Dark Horizon:

- Of course I had to promote a Norwegian beer,
considering my nationalism. This is Dark Horizon,
one of oh so many beers and ales crafted by the
Norwegian brewery "Nøgne Ø" in Arendal. As you
might guess it is a very dark ale, and I love it. The
beauty of "Nøgne Ø" is that they make collectibles,
each year they produce some new kinds of beer in
limited numbers, I've been so lucky as to taste one
of these limited kinds from 2004 and the experience
was unlike most other beers I've tasted.

That's it for beers this time, I will be returning with my next entry regarding liquer, but for now I will
"Go take a drink and drown my sorrows, so all of my fears will be gone til tomorrow. I'll have
no regrets and live for the day, in Nancy's harbour café!
" - Alestorm.
