This is awesome even if it's not used on a jackal. Was thinking bout a plasma shield for a while even if it's not in just a halo type map it's an awesome idea.

Yes, i also imagined that the needle missile could be used as a draenei fireball-style spell, since it looks like a little purple crystal

I really kills the clean look of the shield itself. It's no big deal, just something I would fix if I could.

Items/SFX can't hold TC anymore. They say there's a special way to do it, but I was never able to figure it out lol.

I know that "sphere" can, although it would be innapropriate with this shield since that spell plays death animation every time the unit attacks.
