PIRATES ROUTE

Map Info:

Story of the place :

Before the pirates invade this land,
An ancient civilization already build their temple in this island.
Legends said that this city was destroyed by explosion
Many markings in their civilization was banished.
You can see few ruins only .

This is a 6v6 melee map .

Features:

This melee map is good for late game attacks, because the army need to travel and slay the monster before they reach the base of their main enemies .

This is some other features ...

  • 6 goblin laboratories
  • 2 goblin merchants
  • 10 goblin shipyards
  • 18 goldmines ( including starting gold mines)
  • 1 dragon roost
  • 4 mercenary camps
  • And a lot of neutral creeps .

good map!

edit: the only problem with the map is that computers are too dumb to use the ships or those flying goblin things, i cant remember their names right now XD and i think the monsters is some places like the nearest gold mine are pretty strong.
i would rate 4/5

Idea/Concept:
I could start talking and talking and make a wall of text but I wont.Nothing original its just an ordinary melee map.

Idea 10/20

Terrain:
A big main island and some smaller at its surroundings.Kind of strange that the smaller island are the star locations.Nice beaches and doodads placed well.Maybe you need some more work with the middle part of the island cause I cant stand looking at it :p

Terrian 14/20

Gameplay:
Starting in an isolated island gives you a lot of time to expand and gain money and manpower.Small creep camps always help for 1-2 levels.I played it full house.Was a bit laggy but nevermind.Game goes smooth till someone makes a full scale assault to another.Then the big game starts :p

The size of the island is enough because they are far to each other , They can cut all the trees so the tendency the base become larger . And your problem is the middle Island , I think the middle has no problem, I placed the doodads very well . Your reason is "I don't like it at all" , this is invalid reason . You need to tell the good reason .

The computer can't buy a goblin shipyards but they can bought a airship . I already played this map 3 times and I don't encounter a problem regarding in that issue, They attack my base by using goblin airships . The Ai know that thing .
