I dont know anything about modelling, if it might be difficult what you've done, but even if it might look simple, I find that addition very usefull, love it!

Awe-freaking-some!

Though, the pauldron kinda "clip" with the arm (at least during attack animation).

Not sure if it's a huge problem though, cause it might be a bit "hard to grasp" the clipping from top-down view anyway.

Very useful model, although some details can bother someone who is overly precious. Also an example of the skirt below the waist being totally inanimate, being in most animations crossed in relation to the legs. But in this case, it requires meticulous work in editing all animations, it may not pay off lol

As for Pauldron, it is quite easy to rectify in the specified animation.
Practical way of working animations outside of Retera:
1st Open your HD model inside the RMS. Export it to .mdx classic (HD->SD 900 version ).
2nd Edit it with MdlVis, it will be easier to reapply the correct position of Pauldron in each of the frames to "Attack" , then save the classic model.
3rd Open the RMS and the .mdx- HD version model, add the "Attack" animation of the edited model (SD) over your model in the HD version and then remove the old "attack" animation.

And by the way, the model is a great human alternative for rifler, this time it didn’t look as much of a dwarf, compared to another one previously proposed here at Hive.

That's overly complicated, animation is not only possible in RMS as it is (specially for things like pauldrons), but it is better than in mdlvis. Ctrl-c/ctrl-v in RMS is incredibly powerful. You just have to get used to working in 3 planes instead of with a 3d model (I wish Retera would change it).

The model looks nice (a custom texture would be awesome, though), but it has several issues:

- Fix clipping issues in the pauldron and the jacket.
- Fix the positioning of the rifle, specially in the walk animation.
- Add an ingame camera or a portrait. Best approach is to take the brigand's portrait, add an eyepatch and maybe rotate the camera a bit, and change its name to pirate_portrait.mdx.
- Add the shooting sound from the dwarven rifleman.
- Add an icon.
- Add a skeleton.

Any chance you add at least the sound ? Look's very weird, and the death animation would be great too

Not sure if it was just me but I found that blood appear at their feet instead of the foes they were shooting?

Either way, nice job!

looks great, but I noticed a bug on stand 2 - the bandage is missing from the eye for the first part of the animation, on stand 3 hands floated through gun and stand 4 - hand and gun not contacting.

And questin, were you made this model? What a program?
