Picture albums should function on "Subscribed" basis

THW's picture albums have one really annoying feature - when you post a comment or question on someone's picture, people can reply, but you get no notifications or interactions whatsoever. The only way to keep track of who has commented on other's albums is to constantly check in on those pictures.

Is it possible to edit how the system functions, and make the pictures you comment to kind of like threads, subscribing to them and getting a notification whenever someone else posts a comment to pictures you've commented on?

This wouldn't cause too much spam (people rarely comment on album pictures), but would be a dandy feature to have, not having to check in manually.

Yes it is not very well integrated in the rest of the system. The same with social groups.

I agree, it is kinda bothersome to keep checking the picture for replies. Social Groups too, if notifications are implemented, it will be a great help.
