Is rep necessary?
It's necessary, as long as it's not abused by *******

I don't know just thought it would be nice to know that my albums are actually being looked at and not just wasting space.
Well, it's a matter if Ralle does have the time.
For me, this can be a good addition.
Honestly, if it's attached to a post, it will be seen.
Not many people, to be honest, looks on your albums.

Lets see what Ralle has to say about this.

Ludicrous statement. Do you even understand your own implication here?

Albums are useful in one way or another, depending on the intention of its creator.
Adding "count(views)" seems like an unnecessary step towards Twitter- and Facebook-Faggottery ( "my E-Penis grows proportionally to followers/ 'friends' " ).

I was just going to say that too.
We do not need and not want any more epeen measuring.
If you need attention go sell out on twitter or facebook.

If the intent of the creator is to garner attention to his/her terraining projects etc and nobody is looking at them then it is pointless and they know that they need an alternative means of getting it noticed.

You can tell the views on threads, maps, models almost everything except your albums/pictures.

My pictures pertaining to my current project can be found in my album. Not all of these pictures are in its map development thread so I just want to know if people are seeing all of it or not.

I'm not asking for attention merely curious.

If you don't want people bragging about that sort of thing then merely make a rule about it simple as.
